Leslie Montana Home, Design Services for your Enlightened Space
Perhaps you've purchased a painting, premium giclee, or other item from one of my collections. The next logical step is to frame and hang or place it, right?
Yes, and— I've witnessed this process many times and found there's almost always more to it. And as I've been called upon to troubleshoot and assist with the installation of artwork, I realized that what comes naturally to me doesn't to everyone else. I'm highly visually attuned and sensitive to energy, but most importantly, I understand how to use the energetic properties of aesthetics.
My paintings are like amplifiers. They anchor light in 3D reality, which can be of great benefit. Placing artwork optimally is an extra service I offer to collectors and occasionally to others. Either way, using color, pattern, décor treatments, dowsing, and intuitive Feng Shui, I help my clients cultivate supportive, healthy environments that are right for them.
What does it cost?
For some, combining my services with the acquisition of artwork is a good starting point. Depending on your budget and investment with me, we may be fine-tuning the details of an agreement right now. Everyone's needs differ, so a one-size-fits-all package is not especially useful. When you hire me to work with you, I'll be tuning in for what you want to accomplish, and working out how to actualize it. My main focus will be crafting your environment so your artwork is of the highest service. Here's a link to a bedroom redesign in the Bay area of Northern California that could be helpful. Look at the before and after to see how I work. Pricing is outlined below. I can work remote or in person depending on your needs.
Pricing and Services
• Design consultation via Zoom is $150.00 hourly. There is a one-hour minimum, payable before meetings.
• Design consultation, intuitive feng shui, read your space in person, and make recommendations: $250.00. The session is 60 to 90 minutes and is for information and suggestions only. Expenses such as travel time are additional.
• Design consultation and implementation*, project day rate: $1,000.00. This includes all of the above but does not include travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses such as material costs or on-site staff such as painters, carpenters, fabricators, etc.
The first steps you'll take
You may provide the following, or I can gather most of the information myself. Preliminary items furnished by you are most cost effective, and I recommend it.
1) Your timeline and expectations around delivery. Do you have a deadline in mind for the completion of your project? Is working in stages a possibility? Please share details regarding the timing of your project.
2) The address, including suite and room numbers of your location. Measurements, floor plan, layout of the space including its directional orientation, and geographical coordinates. If this is a new location, such as an office, house, or apartment, please provide the date of the lease or mortgage signing if you have it on hand. The exact date/time/location of your birth if this is your primary residence or office.
3) Clear photos and video of your space. All walls, transitioning into the corners of each room, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, etc. An outside view, how the space looks from the outside, and the entrance. A video of what it looks like as you enter the space. A clear representation of the room(s) you want me to work on.
4) If and when applicable, you may provide paint chips, fabric swatches, material samples, and other things, such as links pertinent to your project. We will likely have discussed this beforehand. Physical materials can be mailed or given to me in person when we get together.
Setting a foundation for successful collaboration
A collaboration such as this requires cooperation for things to go smoothly. Creativity has a natural flow, and dealing with the unexpected is often part of the project. To manage the many details and deliver based on your expectations, hopefully exceeding them, I need to determine if we are a good fit. A realistic evaluation of what I can do for you based on preliminary factors such as budget, timing, communication style, etc. is critical.
If it's a go on my end, we can discuss possibilities, creative aspects, and all the fun stuff. I'll then draft an agreement and project outline for your review, and we can proceed from there. In the interests of clear communication, I'll ask you to sign off at each stage to ensure we're on the same page. Keeping everything on track and within budget is a primary concern as we work together toward implementing the various stages, however simple or complex they may be.
Overall, designing your space can be an exciting and inspiring process that brings your dreams into reality. The ultimate reward for me is the satisfaction you'll experience when something wonderful you never could have imagined materializes.
I appreciate your interest in Leslie Montana Interior Design Services, and I look forward to the enlightened enfoldment of your project.
Warmest regards,
Leslie Montana
