We can invite Nature, and its intelligent energy into our lives simply through an act of observation. When we use our ability to observe and deeply witness what's in front of us rather than collect data, we open up to live intelligent streams of life. When we're collecting data, however, we invite the thinking mind take over. It automatically matches what we see with what we already know, and voila, nothing new. The excitement of discovery is absent, because we are pretty much absent.
Rushing around assigning value to tasks we tend to skim the surface of life accomplishing very little while convinced we're doing so much. We give ourselves reasons to overlook the intense beauty that's all around us. But, you can catch yourself. The mechanism is built in.
Put your focus on beauty today and water it with the light of your being. Be witness to what is real and enduring. Hug trees and allow a flower petal or two to brush against your cheek. The sun is always shining. This is the message of Two Peonies, Sunny Side Up.
