Spending time with these amazing plants and creating paintings of them always has a wonderful effect on me. Their energetic signature is the perfect symbol for rising in consciousness and its been used in the far east in this way for ages. The lotus plant and water lilies in general speaks to us of the spiritual journey to a full-flowering consciousness all the way up from the murky mud of pond floors.
