Perching Winged

Perching Winged, graphite pencil drawing by Leslie Montana
Title: Perching Winged | Medium: Graphite pencil on paper

The quality of time spent on a creation is what gives any given work of art its primary language. Common to all souls, it is light that carries the message and ultimately the essence of a creation. While visible, this is not something we can get through our mundane eyes. Felt within and accompanied by a sense of expansion, we receive it. And that’s the amazing thing about art. It gives us the capacity to communicate with life itself. Its potential is unlimited. My work is really about the flowing movement of life and creation. And even though the subject matter is identifiable, rarely is there a story for your mind to get caught up in.
