April showers inspire watercolor paintings! My front yard in Laguna Beach was the catalyst for ROSE LEAVES AFTER RAIN after a rare and heavy downpour. Water clung to those thirsty leaves as sparkling droplets in a way that would mesmerize just about anyone. When I looked more closely at the scene in front of my house I felt drawn into the kaleidoscope of shapes, colors, and reflections. How may different greens could there be? An infinite number it seems. Please email for more information about this painting and how you can commission me to create a work of art for you or your organization.
