Commissioning a work of art
If for instance you just adore a particular color range, or you're looking for a larger or smaller work than I currently have available you may want to consider commissioning a work of art. No two paintings are ever the same. There are a myriad of roses, lotus, tulips and so on, and no two will ever be the same. You can be a part of the process by choosing the flower, color range, size and orientation and basically leave the rest up to me. I carefully choose commissions and execute them with the same integrity I would if were creating a work of art on my own. Though not surprisingly, it seems that commissioned works always have an added air of excitement and positive expectation around them. An example of a commissioned work

White Rose Cluster | oil on canvas | 29x36" | private collection, CA USA
For many months after a magazine featured my painting "Roses of Love" on its cover I enjoyed hearing from people all over the country about how much they enjoyed this work of art. It was such a lovely experience. One woman who was deeply moved by the close up bouquet of deep pink roses kept the magazine with the intention of buying one of my paintings as soon as she could. When she contacted me a couple of years later she had her heart and mind set on something similar to what she saw but she wanted white roses. She decided to commission a work of art, and the "White Rose Cluster" (left) is the result of our collaboration. My client was absolutely thrilled with the painting— and I love it too.
